Biography
Daria is currently a Master’s student at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Qatar, specializing in Social Policy and Program Evaluation. Alongside her studies, she is holding positions of junior research fellow at RUDN University’s Department of African and Arabic Studies and the Center for Monitoring Stability and Risks at HSE University in Moscow. At both institutions, her primary focus is researching terrorist activity and decentralization processes across the African continent.
Daria’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Asian and African studies and a Master’s degree in Comparative Politics of Eurasia at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg. Her research covered Russian foreign policies in regions like the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, including Afghanistan.
Daria’s areas of interest encompass various facets of international relations: Russian Foreign Policy; Counterterrorism Efforts; Post-conflict Reconstruction; Political Dynamics and Human Rights; Secessions and Decentralization.
Throughout her academic journey, she has been actively involved in scholarly research, publishing articles, and contributing to discussions within the academic community.
